1. If you are buying a tent for 2 people get a 3 person tent. For 3 people, a 4 person tent and so on.
When they say a tent fits 3 people, they mean 3 people that are not storing gear in their tent and that sleep like they are in a coffin. Even a 4 person tent for 2 people is ideal.
2. If you see someone being interrupted in a conversation, acknowledge them.
Don’t let them be pushed to the side. A small gesture can mean a lot.
3. Understanding the difference between being able to afford something and having enough money for something is the key to financial happiness.
4. If you are planning on putting a family member in a nursing home, stop by the local EMS base first and see what they have to say about the facility.
If you are shopping around for a nursing home or assisted living facility for a family member do yourself a huge favor and stop by the local EMS base or Fire Dept with pizza or donuts and ask the paramedics what they think about the facility you are considering.
