Here are 5 things you should know.
1. openpaymentsdata.cms.gov
There is a .gov website that allows you to type in any doctor’s name and see the type and monetary value of any kickbacks or perks that the doctor received from pharmaceutical companies/ drug reps, and the name of the company that gave the perks.
The website is https://openpaymentsdata.cms.gov. This becomes relevant in examining your doctor’s motives for prescribing certain drugs. For example, if your doctor is pushing OxyContin instead of a lighter or different drug, and you see that he received $5,000 from Purdue Pharma (maker of OxyContin), you might get kind of suspicious and ask your doctor about it directly. If they received $50,000, you might be wise to just switch doctors. Of course, this pertains to any medication, not just narcotics.
2. Febreze kills ants and spiders on contact without the noxious smell of most indoor ant killers.
Active ingredient hydroxypropyl beta-cyclodextrin (HPβCD) and inactive ingredient Benzisothiazolinone used in Febreze make it an effective killer of ants and spiders and has a far less noxious odor than most indoor insect killers. It will not however leave a lasting “kill zone” like other insecticides that can continue killing ants and spiders that stroll over it for weeks.
3. The Swedish company Soundcloud is very close to bankruptcy.
They are running out of money quickly. Make sure you have your own music somewhere locally, and not just on Soundcloud should the service suddenly terminate.
4. familytreenow.com
There is a genealogy website that most likely provides much of you and your family’s private information to the general public. You can and should easily opt out of it.
The website is https://familytreenow.com
It displays information about people including your full name, age, year of birth, current and past addresses, and family members to anybody who wants to look you up.
Luckily it’s pretty easy to get your information off the site, read this link for more info:

5. A list of free tax filing software.

The IRS has a list of free tax filing software you can use depending on your income. Paying TurboTax is for suckers!
Link to the list: https://apps.irs.gov/app/freeFile/
the link in 5 does not take one to a list of free tax filing software
I noticed the same thing. I think the source is missing or just the link is incorrect.
Link to the list of softwares has been added.
