Yes. My dad died around the same time I was going through a divorce, so I moved Home to help pay bills until I could get back on my own feet. It was only supposed to be for a few months, but my own self destructive behavior (first d.u.i) along with my brother going on disability (he never lived on his own before dad passed, Mom encouraged milking disability, then he lost his job and Mom encouraged milking unemployment benefits) caused me to extend my stay from 3 months to 2 years. Then I met an amazing woman that’s so supportive in so many ways but she lived so far it caused us to break up once. Then when we got back together and I decided to move in with her because she was so good for my life my mom called me selfish, told me my dad would be disappointed in me, made many negative Facebook posts that were directed at me, and just made me feel like sh*t. But my girlfriend is caring, kind, and treats me in a way no woman has

I feel like these Askreaders sections are getting personal and specific to the point of futility/irrelevance. And I think it’s a punch in the eye to the overall purpose of the site. Just my opinion.
