    Yes but don’t forget that North Korea has a big ally in China; though increasingly irritated by North Korea’s antics, they still see them a part of their sphere of influence and would not take any intervention lightly, although I doubt they would come to take their gloves off. Think more of material assistance than direct involvement. As soon as China becomes truly democratic -and not only by name-, I think North Korea would wall very, very soon after.

      Agreed with China being the biggest asset that North Korea has. However like you I say that China would not welcome any actions from North Korea and may very well let them get clobbered if war was to come to Prevent any trouble with NATO.
