    While u add “world’s first” so liberally ,you forget about the Mohenjo Dark Harappan civilization.
    While u are researching facts about the Harappan civilization, also look for the city of Dwarka.
    Would be looking forward to a piece on both!

    I would second Parth’s input. While Rome’s systems of water distribution and sewage might have been bigger, they came about 2000 years after the Indus Valley Civilization. Harappa, Mohenjo Daro, and other lost cities were fully planned, with sewage systems, running water and bath houses around 2000 years before Rome had them.
