Alan Shearer is the record goalscorer in the history of the league, the Englishman scored 260 goals over his time at Newcastle United and Blackburn Rovers. Shearer’s greatest scoring return over an individual season came in the 1994/95 season when he scored 34 in 42 appearances for Blackburn.
