Every employee is scared of being replaced by AI as is evident from the thousands of posts and discussions on social media platforms. From data entry and customer service to coding and telemarketing, it’s all doom and gloom when we think about AI. However, though these arguments are valid, incorporating AI into the job market is not entirely bad! Like all other technologies, artificial intelligence will impact how we work in many positive ways. Here are some of the ways artificial intelligence will reshape jobs in the future.
1. AI will Create More Jobs
Contrary to popular belief, AI will bring more jobs than it will take away. AI tools need to be trained and monitored. That means data scientists and specialists will be in high demand. Also, in every industry, employees will need to be AI-savvy. Colleges and universities will definitely have to add AI as a unit in all courses, translating to more employment opportunities for educators. For now, AI may seem like it’s replacing several jobs through automation. However, in the future, it will create more employment opportunities.
2. Businesses will Be Fully Dependent on AI
Most businesses will fully depend on artificial intelligence in the next decade. This applies to both online and brick-and-mortar businesses. AI is being incorporated into all aspects of business, from manufacturing to shipping, promoting efficiency and increase return on investment.
The most exciting part is that both small and large-scale enterprises will adopt AI. Managers and business owners will need thorough training in artificial intelligence. As mentioned earlier, the future generation will likely be AI-savvy because such courses will be introduced in schools.
3. AI will Not Automate the Entire Job Market
AI enthusiasts believe that this technology will fully automate most jobs. However, that is not true. AI will only automate data collection and simple tasks. However, tasks such as management will need human supervision.
It’s important to note that AI capabilities are limited. Therefore, tasks such as management will need to be carried out by a human being. It’s also important to note that AI can’t be relied on to make crucial decisions in companies and businesses, yet.
4. AI will Make Jobs Easier

One of the key reasons people are using AI in the workforce is how it makes jobs easier. Take marketing, for example: In the past, people would take days to brainstorm a marketing idea for a company or a business. Today, with advanced AI tools, developing a similar concept would take seconds.
As AI becomes more advanced, it will be easier for most employees to execute specific tasks. This is a good thing because the easier your job is, the more productive you become. On the negative side, AI might make certain people “lazy”. Therefore, human resources managers may need to devise new ways to boost productivity in an AI-savvy workplace.
5. Creativity will Be a Useful Skill in the AI Job Market
Though powerful and accurate, AI still lags behind in creativity. This is why highly creative people will be in high demand in the future. By 2030 or 2040, AI will have fully automated most repetitive tasks. Therefore, many employers will seek creative individuals who can leverage AI tools to increase profits.
This applies to all niches and industries. If you’re in the job market, it’s high time you tap into your creative side and offer out-of-the-box solutions. Because in the not so distant future, no one will care how fast or efficient you are at working.
6. Businesses will Enjoy Around-the-Clock Customer Support
Unlike human customer support officers, AI doesn’t tire and never takes breaks. Therefore, whenever a client has an issue, AI chatbots will offer solutions even in the middle of the night. Currently, most AI customer service chatbots do not provide quality solutions. However, in the future, there is room for improvement.
As long as a particular tool has been adequately trained and fed relevant data, it should provide tailored responses to specific customer queries. Still on customer support, businesses will need officers to work on more serious client issues. However, it will eliminate the need for large customer service teams or outsourcing.
7. AI will Make Job Recruitment Easier and Quicker
There is no doubt that human resources managers go through a stressful time, especially during recruitment. However, instead of spending hours combing through hundreds of resumes and cover letters, HRMs will leverage AI to identify potential candidates. This will streamline the hiring process.
The same technology will also be used to conduct initial interviews and send emails to those who have been shortlisted. From an ethical point of view, AI will significantly reduce bias during the recruitment process.
8. AI will Promote Remote Work
We live in an era where employers and employees are heavily invested in remote work. AI will significantly enhance remote work in various ways in the coming years. It will be incorporated into remote work tools like Zoom and Slack to provide real-time language translation or transcription. This will be pretty useful for people working on an international level. The same technology will automate administrative tasks. Therefore, workers won’t be needed to physically appear at the office.

I work in AI development and few of those are real. Office work will absolutely be taken over by AI. There,s just too much incentive not to pay a worker anymore, not to deal with drama and paperwork when you can replace them with AI and “deal with it”. The idea that AI will bring more jobs is comically clueless. We cut jobs with every project we take, we cut off entire departments of people.
