The first ghost sighting was of a former teacher called Mr. Petrie. After he died in a fire, students reported seeing him wearing a white tux, mostly in the theater. The school-goers also felt strange coldness and disparity when entering the institution.
A couple of years later, a teacher at Las Vegas High School, John Morris, reported seeing a naked child during a play. The boy asked for clothes before disappearing into thin air. After the play, Morris’s daughter mentioned that she was playing with an imaginary friend, who she described as a boy without clothes on.

In Johannesburg, South Africa, there is a boys’ school where a ghost roams the corridors while holding her head on the side. There are different stories regarding how this ghost came to be. It is alleged that she ended her life after her husband died in World War I.

5. Old Portland High School
Legend has it that a janitor carelessly left a pile of bleachers poorly stacked at the Old Portland High School, which then fell and killed a 14-year-old girl. When the janitor heard about this incident, he fled the town.
The father looked for the janitor, killed him, and burnt both the school and the body. It is believed that the ghosts of the girl and janitor still roam the facility. The school was reopened, closed, and turned into a housing complex.
