Sealo came out of retirement in 1978 for his last tour. He appeared with the Sutton Circus Sideshow on the Strates Carnival Midway. He performed his shaving routine and gladly signed any of the 10 pitchcards for twenty-five cents each.

Sometime during the 60’s I skipped school to work for a carnival that was passing through our town. This was in the town of Union, Mo. I believe I was a sophomore in high school. Any way, the person I was assigned to work under was none other than Sealo. I don’t remember the name of the carnival or what exactly it was I did for him, but I do remember him smoking a cigar. He gave me one of his postcards (signed in person). I misplaced this card a long time ago, but I will never forget this very nice man.

I met Sealo at the fair in Columbus, Ga. around 1969 I still have his postcard in a picture album he signed.
